Control zone
Approved document L, Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 2: Buildings other than dwellings, 2021 edition incorporating 2023 amendments, suggests that control zone: ‘Refers to the independent control of rooms or areas within buildings that need to be heated to different temperatures at different times.’
